I write this to remind myself of that fact.
Pale Blue Dot
This is the famous Voyager photo of the earth. The small dot in streams of scattered starlight, artificially highlited so that it can be seen. Our insignificance is beyond our comprehension.

Nope. Sometimes, I half wish I was, But I'm not.
I'm something in between a half baked engineer and an incompetent scientist.
if you are just starting out you shouldn't have such an opinion about yourself... i think it will do harm. besides, in the early stages you just wouldn't have done enough to even say you've not done anything :) . too less time to judge.
I was (only) half kidding. I see what you mean.
I'll suspend judgement for a few years then :)
